The main emphasis of our research into prostate cancer oncogenesis is the clinical significance of the molecular profile. As indicated in our review ‘Genomic Research and Prostate cancer: what does it offer us?’ (BJU international), we have compiled the results from a number of papers (References) into a working table and a summary diagram (see Figure 1; Chromosomal ‘hot spots’).
A discussion of techniques and some of the technical issues associated with molecular profiling, a glossary and the selection criteria are also available.
